Jamshedpur, Sept. 7: Saloon and beauty owners have been worst affected due to the nationwide lockdown imposed by the government amid the rise of the COVID-19 cases. In Jharkhand saloons have opened up from September 1 but the owners are said to be suffering a loss of earnings from the five-month lockdown, and are worried about future sales drops.
Extending helping hand, Rotary Club of Jamshedpur has provided financial support to barbers in Jamshedpur who have just managed to survive the lockdown.

Former MLA and state BJP spokesperson Kunal Sarangi, PP Gian Taneja, President of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur DN Jena along with Club Secretary Pramod Dubey, Treasurer Dr VSP Sinha, PP Sharad Chandran, Avinash Duggar, ML Agarwal took time out from their busy schedule and handed over cheque of Rs 2500 each to 21 barbers who were in dire need of financial assistance. Total Rs 52,500 was distributed among the local barber community.
