Rajdhani Express to get modern amenities

Jamshedpur: Railway is mulling over plans to introduce a number of improvements in the bogies of Rajdhani Express very soon.

As per plan, state-of-the-art amenities would be available in the bogies.

Devices would be fitted in the bogies to give information about the speed and names of stations to passengers. The wash basins will have taps with sensors to dispense water automatically on bringing one�s hand beneath the tap.

Automatic hand drier device would also be fitted in trains apart from water tank indicators.

Red indicator bulbs would also be installed outside toilets to inform passengers whether the toilets are occupied or not.

Ladders and LED bulbs would also be installed in third AC coaches of trains, sources said.
