Raj Kapoor Centenary Celebration: Iconic films screened at PJP Cinepolis Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Dec 13: PJP Cinepolis multiplex in P and M Hi-Tech City Centre Mall, Bistupur is commemorating the centenary of legendary actor-director Raj Kapoor with a special film festival from December 13 to 15. As part of the celebration, two of Raj Kapoor’s iconic films will be screened daily, offering fans a chance to relive the magic of his cinematic legacy.

The festival began on Friday, December 13 marking Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary, with a screening of Aag at 6:00 pm, followed by Bobby at 9:05 pm. The celebration continues on December 14 with Mera Naam Joker at 3:45 pm and Sangam at 8:35 pm. On the final day, December 15, Sangam will be shown again at 3:45 pm, and the festival will conclude with Shri 420 at 8:15 pm.

Nitesh Kumar, a representative of P and M Mall, said that this tribute is part of a nationwide initiative to honor Raj Kapoor’s centenary. The festival offers audiences in Jamshedpur a unique opportunity to experience the timeless works of one of Indian cinema’s greatest icons.
