Jamshedpur, Feb 27: MP Bidyut Baran Mahato’s relentless advocacy for public welfare has culminated in a significant achievement as the Railway Ministry has approved the extension of the Tata-Ara Express (18183/18184) to Buxar.
The Railway Ministry’s announcement stated that the train will depart from Tatanagar Railway Station at 8:15 am daily and arrive at Buxar at 10:50 pm, making stops at Bihian, Raghunathpur, and Dumraon stations between Arrah and Buxar. MP Mahato was informed of this decision over the telephone on Tuesday.
Expressing his joy, MP Mahato attributed the success to his persistent efforts, including numerous visits to the Railway Ministry and meetings with the Railway Minister. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on his own and the citizens of Jamshedpur’s behalf.
The parliamentarian emphasized the convenience this service would provide not only to Jamshedpur residents but also to those in the entire Kolhan region who had been demanding a Buxar-bound train. He highlighted the benefits for passengers traveling to Uttar Pradesh, asserting that the Modi government ensured improved railway services.
