Haldia: As part of Swachhta Pakhwada, Haldia Refinery organised a quiz competition at Rajarchak New Primary School. Bisweswar Das, DGM (Maint-Civil), Haldia Refinery was the distinguished guests to encourage all the students.
The Swachha Bharat Pledge was administered to the students. The awareness of cleanliness and the need of hygiene were spread among the students in form of an energizing Quiz.
Bisweswar Das enlighten the students on how a clean environment is very necessary to live a peaceful and healthy life. We can achieve nothing physically, mentally or spiritually if we are unclean in our body, mind and soul. Healthy and clean environment maintains the nature�s balance as well as helps in growing, nourishing and developing all the living things on the earth.
The delegate felicitated all the winners. After the quiz session the students along with the teachers participated in a cleanliness drive around the school premises. Two dustbins were also installed in the school to celebrate the occasion. The students were distributed small �Cleanliness-Reminder� pocket cards to encourage cleanliness.
