Jamshedpur, May 2: The CBSE Class 12 results were declared on 2nd May, 2019. Harshit Agrawal, a student of DAV Bistupur, topped the success list in Jamshedpur.. He has scored an aggregate of 97% in the pure science stream. In an exclusive chat with The Avenue Mail, he said, �Students need not slog for 12 to 13 hours a day; instead, they should focus on quality studies which should be on a regular basis.�
Harshit attributes his academic success to his elder sister who played the role of a mentor for him. He has also thanked his teachers and parents for their constant guidance and support. He is ecstatic after the declaration of results. He said, �I am still to come out of the euphoria. I am getting congratulatory messages from all my relatives and friends. My parents are very proud of me. I am at the top of the world right now.�
As a piece of advice to his juniors, he said, �I suggest students to avoid pressure. The syllabus changes considerably between grades 10 and 12, and to release this pressure, students should keep participating in various activities.�
Harshit has scored an All India Rank of 764 in JEE Mains 2019 and plans to pursue engineering for higher studies. Regular studies have helped him in achieving his goal. He plans to do well in future by following the same mantra.
