Jamshedpur, August 8: A meeting was organized by Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan (PSZMS) at Sakchi Agrasen Bhawan on Sunday, August 8 during which chief guest and the organization’s state president Omprakash Agrawal announced that PSZMS was the best unit in Jharkhand for its outstanding activities in the realms of social projects and membership drive. During the meeting issues related to organization matters and future projects for social developments were discussed. Special guests present on the occasion included outgoing State President of Marwari Sammelan Nirmal Kabra, Senior State Vice President Ashok Bhalotia State General Secretary Pawan Sharma, Vice President Kamal Kedia, Vinod Jain and Umesh Shah. The function was inaugurated jointly by the guests.
Utkal Singhania, Divya Agarwal and Sandeep Murarka were honored with angvastram and mementoes as tokens of honour and acknowledgement for their special contribution to society. The programme was chaired by PSZMS President Ashok Modi and anchored by District General Secretary Arun Gupta.
Marwari Sammelan State President Omprakash Agrawal declared the East Singhbhum unit as the best district of the State organization for social service activities and membership campaigns. In the course of the meeting it was decided to pay special attention in the field of medicine and education. Members also insisted that offices of Marwari Sammelan should be opened in all districts of Jharkhand.
Many eminent people of the community gave their views that were noted by the district committee as suggestions. The name of Ashok Bhalotia was also discussed as candidate for the future state president of Marwari Sammelan. All branch presidents, secretaries, district officers, executives and members were present in the program.
