Jamshedpur, Dec 20: Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan (PSZMS) election of the district body will be held at the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SCCI) Bhawan on Tuesday, December 22 between 10:30 am and 4 pm. The election results will be announced the same day. Ashok Modi, Sawarmal Agarwal and Shiv Prasad Sharma will be fighting for the post of PSZMS president. Ashok Modi and Sawarmal Agarwal, candidates for the post of president of Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan (PSZMS) on Sunday met the organization’s members and executives as a part of their campaign in Jugsalai.
Sawarmal Agarwal during his interactive tour appealed the members to cast their votes in his favour and assured that he will continue to work whole heartedly for the community. Sri Basu Khemka, Murari Lal Agarwal, Mahendra Agarwal, Shyam Sunder Agarwal, Ashish Agarwal accompanied him on his interactive tour.
On third day of the campaign on Sunday, Ashok Modi along with his supporters met members of the community in Jugsalai and appealed the voters to give him a chance to work for the community. Those who accompanied him on his interactive tour with community and PSZMS members at Jugsalai were Satyanarayan Agarwal, Naresh Modi, Sawarmal Sharma, Banwari Lal Khandelwal, Murari Lal Agarwal, Mahaveer Agarwal, Bajrang Agarwal and others.
It may be noted that all life members, patron members and special patrons would be eligible to cast votes. Murlidhar Kedia is chief electoral officer and Santosh Agrawal is his deputy. PSZMS ID cards or any other government ID card with photograph must be produced mandatorily at the time of casting ballots.
