Security Review Conducted For President Murmu’s Fen 26 Visit

Jamshedpur: The steel city is preparing for a high-profile visit from President Droupadi Murmu on February 26. The President will attend two major events: a spiritual-cultural foundation ceremony and an institutional program.

Key Events on the President’s Schedule

The President will first lead the groundbreaking ceremony for the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Charitable Centre Trust in Kadma. This project aims to become a major cultural hub for devotees in the region.

Following this, she will visit Manipal Tata Medical College. This institution plays a vital role in Jharkhand’s healthcare and medical education sectors.

High-Level Security Review

Top state officials conducted an extensive ground inspection to ensure a safe visit. Manoj Kaushik (ADG CID) and Manoj Kumar (Secretary, Rural Development) led the review.

Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi and the Senior Superintendent of Police briefed the visiting team on specific security protocols. The inspection covered several critical areas:

  • Security personnel deployment
  • Traffic management and route planning
  • Emergency medical and firefighting readiness
  • Uninterrupted power and water supply

Strict Administrative Protocols

Senior officials demanded strict adherence to Presidential protocols. They emphasized a zero-tolerance policy for security lapses. All departments must coordinate seamlessly to ensure the event proceeds with dignity.

Deputy Commissioner Satyarthi has already assigned specific tasks to various departments. Meanwhile, district police have intensified patrols across Jamshedpur to maintain order.
