Jamshedpur: President Droupadi Murmu arrived in East Singhbhum district on her official visit, where she was accorded a warm and dignified welcome at Sonari Airport by the district administration on Monday.
On her arrival, the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum Karn Satyarthi extended greetings on behalf of the district administration by presenting a bouquet to the President. Senior administrative and police officials were present at the airport to receive her and ensure smooth arrangements.
Elaborate security measures were in place at Sonari Airport and along the route, keeping in view the President’s visit. The district administration had made comprehensive preparations to ensure safety, protocol compliance and seamless movement during her stay.
The visit of the President has generated much enthusiasm across the district, with citizens viewing it as a moment of pride for East Singhbhum.
