Pre-paid card for monthly use of toilet in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) is soon going to launch a pre-paid card facility to facilitate monthly use of public toilets by the residents of the city. Those willing to use public toilets on a monthly basis will have to purchase the monthly pre-paid card by paying Rs 100, said Sanjay Kumar, special officer of JNAC.

JNAC swachhata ambassador Biswajeet Prasad, who held a Swachhata meeting with the residents of Nirmal Nagar near Marine Drive, said those not having toilet facility at home may use public toilets with the help of the prepaid card. He said very soon people would get water and electricity facility at the community buildings. An education centre for aged people would also be run on the roof of the public toilet buildings, he said.
