Jamshedpur, July 21: Poorv Sainik Seva Parishad (PSSP) will organize Kargil Vijay Divas (Kargil Victory Day) on Saturday, July 27 from 4 pm at the Kerala Samajam School Auditorium in Golmuri. A meeting to review preparations for the event was held at Agrico Transport Ground today.
PSSP president Sergeant Tapas Kumar Majumdar stated that the main purpose of organizing this event was to instill the spirit of patriotism in the youth and honour the martyrs� families. Programme coordinators Anil Kumar Sinha, Yogesh Kumar, Umesh Sharma and Siddhnath Singh provided the details of preparations for the event during the meeting.
The guests will include Jharkhand Minister Saryu Roy, Brigadier BG Pathak, Director State Defense Force Welfare Directorate,, DC Ravi Shankar Shukla, SSP Anup Birtharay, Colonel Niraj Kumar Officer Commandant 324 Field Regiment, Sukanto Kumar Mohanty Regional Manager Bank of India and social worker Bailey Bodhanwala.
The Kargil Victory Day celebration will include honouring martyrs of Kargil war families from Palamau, Ghatshila and Jamshedpur. A colourful cultural programme will be presented on the occasion.
