Police conduct raid against illegal sale of fire crackers in Jamshedpur, seize crackers worth lakhs

Jamshedpur, Nov 1: Acting tough against illegal sale of firecrackers, the police raided a shop RA Traders in Jugsalai and seized crackers worth lakh of rupees.

Sub-divisional officer, Dhalbhum, Nitish Kumar said that the administration is acting tough against sale of crackers against norms.�


He, however, added that the administration has geared up to tackle any possible Diwali-related mishaps, and has all its vehicles and equipment ready for the task.


The police have been asked to keep an eye in the Jugsalai and area for, it is the most vulnerable zone as far illegal sale of fire crackers are concerned.
