Jamshedpur, Sept 30: Police and BJP members on Monday conducted a cleanliness drive at Katin Chowk in Patamda Block of Jugsalai Vidhan Sabha constituency. They cleaned the areas around the statues of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Baba Saheb Ambedkar and cleared shrubs and other wild growth at these places.
They also cleaned the market area. Kamalpur police station OC Vijay Singh had a board put up in the area that stated that no wastes were to be thrown in the areas.� Kamalpur PS OC Vijay Singh, ASI Manish Singh along with former BJP district vice president Sandip Mishra, BJP district working committee member Kripasindhu Mahto, Biswajit Karmakar, Murari Mohan Pal and others were part of the team that cleaned the Katin Chowk area. They said that maintaining cleanliness was not the government�s responsibility alone but of every citizen.
