Police arrest three criminals involved in the firing on Rakesh Dubey

Jamshedpur: City police today arrested three criminals involved in the firing on Rakesh Dubey, a gangster at Sonari on November 26 evening. East Singhbhum SSP Anoop Birtharay, said that murder attempt on Rakesh Dubey, who is still recovering at Tata Main Hospital, was a sequel to the old enmity between Rakesh Dubey and Gangesh Singh, both members of rival gangs operating in the Sonari, mainly dealing with levy from builders.

Those who have been nabbed include Gangesh Singh (28), a resident of Dispensary Road, Shankar Lodhi (24) and Babu Lodhi (25), both residents of Nurse Colony. All are residents of Sonari.

Police have also confiscated the two mobiles used by the criminals for the attack.
� We have been able to nab the cluprits. The four youths having criminal background had fired at Rakesh Dubey, a resident of Adarshnagar Mohalla under Sonari thana, to seek revenge for attack planned against them earlier by the victim. A team was formed under the leadership of city SP Prabhat Kumar and after raids on the hideouts, three of those involved have been nabbed.

We are still in the hunt for one of their accomplice who is having the pistol used in the attack,� the SSP said. �We are searching for the whereabouts of Aman Sahu who also posses the firearms (pistol) used in the attack and is currently out of city. We have got some leads and he would be arrested soon,� said Sonari thana OC, Naresh Sinha.

According to police, Gangesh Singh had fired at Rakesh Dubey in January 2014 and had been in jail and was released on bail two months back.
