Jamshedpur, November 25: Two youths attacked the pump attendant with a knife for not giving petrol at the petrol pump under Golmuri police station late on Monday night.
However, he did not suffer any kind of harm. During this time, other petrol pump employees intervened and caught both the youths, beat them and tied them to a pole. The workers informed the police. After receiving the information, Golmuri police reached the spot and took both the youths with them to the police station. Police have also confiscated the bike of the youth.
Pump worker Abhishek told that it was time to shut down the pump late at night. Everyone was calculating. Meanwhile, two youths riding a bike arrived and started asking for petrol. An attempt was made to convince them that the pump had been switched off, but they were not ready to agree and took out a knife and attacked.
