Jamshedpur, August 16: SDSM School for Excellence celebrated the 70th Independence Day with great fervor and enthusiasm at the school premises on Monday, August 16.
The tri-colour beamed high in the school premises. To mark the celebration, an assemblage of events starting with patriotic songs to dances to commemorate the freedom struggle.
Hindi and English speeches were delivered by students to inculcate the spirit of brotherhood and camaraderie.
Moushumi Das, Principal of the School unfurled the national flag and paid homage to the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and created an atmosphere of national pride in the school premises.
Students Council comprising 8 departments was also present on this auspicious day.
