Jamshedpur, Sept 1: The eight day Bhagwat Katha programme at Jugsalai Satyanarayan Mandir Thakur Bari concluded today with yagna rituals. A huge number of devotees offered token sacrifices in the yagna fire by casting sandal wood chips, ghee, mustard seeds into the fire. Brindavan resident and narrator Pandit Santosh Krishna Tripathy �Rishi� stated on the occasion the scientific reason associated with the performing of yagna and the sacrifices put into the flames. �By adding your sacrifices to the fire in the yagna negative energy is eradicated and the atmosphere is purified.�
Consecrated food from Shri Krishna�s Raj Tilak Bhandara was distributed among the large number of devotees from 1 pm. Eminent social personalities who helped organizing this Bhagwat Katha programme were honoured by the Mandir authorities.
Those who ensured success of this venture included the temple�s chief priest Pandit Shrawan Kumar Joshi, Indradev Saraswat, Kailash Chandra Agrawal, Rajendra, Vasudev Khemka, Umesh Khirwal Tappu, Jagdish Dhamor, Ratan Soni, Chiku Khirwal, Mahabir Prasad Kabra, Sushil Rungta, Sanjay Kabra and Girdhari Lal Sharma.
