Pancham crowned Jamshedpur Idol

Jamshedpur, July 21: Continuing its tradition of providing platform to local talent, Urban Services CSR Tata Steel organised �Jamshedpur Idol� (Junior), a singing competition for children below the age of 15 years at the Bengal Club Auditorium on Saturday.

18 best young singing talents of the city mesmerised the audience with their performances. The soulful performances were judged by Tandra Mukharjee, Debnandan Sharma and Deepankar Kumar.

More than 300 aspiring singers participated in two rounds of audition. The 18 finalists went through some rigorous training before the grand finale.

Subodh Kumar, ADM Law & Order, East Singhbhum was the Chief Guest and distributed prizes to the winners. Rajeev Kumar, Inspector cum Officer In-charge Sakchi Police Station attended the event as Guest of Honour.

Best male singer award was bagged by Pratham Chatterjee and best female singer was won by Pusai Saranya.

In the group event first prize was awarded to Pancham followed by Dhaivat and Rishav.

The event was witnessed by more than 500 music lovers of the city. Jiren Topno, Head Urban Services along with his entire team worked hard to make this event a grand success.
