Jamshedpur, January 14: Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., a leading building materials company, organised a free medical health check-up camp under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at the Panchayat Bhawan in Rahergora near the Jojobera Cement Plant in Jamshedpur.
The camp was aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and providing basic medical services to the local community. An experienced female doctor conducted general health check-ups, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, especially for women and children. Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) and Sahiyas from the district health department were also present to assist with vaccination services and the distribution of essential medicines.
Around 150 people from Rahergora panchayat, including men, women and children, benefited from the camp. The programme was organised with the support of local representatives, including District Council Member Kusum Purti, Block Pramukh Pani Soren, Mukhiya Hemant Khalko and ward members. Officials from the district health department actively participated in making the initiative a success.
