Jamshedpur: Under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Limited, Jojobera Cement Plant, actively supported the organisation of a one-day blood donation camp at the North-East Gadra Panchayat Mandap in Jamshedpur. The camp was held under the leadership of Panchayat Samiti Member Birju Patro and witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community.
The camp recorded a strong response, with a total of 60 units of blood collected during the day. People from different sections of society voluntarily came forward to donate blood, highlighting growing awareness and commitment towards humanitarian causes in the area.
To encourage and motivate the blood donors, several dignitaries attended the programme as chief guests. District Council Vice Chairman Pankaj Sinha, JMM Central Committee Member Dubraj, along with other prominent social workers, were present on the occasion. The guests appreciated the donors for their selfless act and described blood donation as one of the noblest services to humanity, as it helps save lives in times of medical emergencies.
Addressing the gathering, Panchayat Samiti Member Birju Patro expressed his gratitude to Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Limited, Jojobera Cement Plant, for its support in organising the camp. He said the company’s cooperation would not only help patients in need of blood but also contribute significantly to spreading awareness about the importance of regular blood donation in society.
