Noamundi: Noamundi Inter College has secured 84 percent result in Jharkhand Intermediate Arts result published by the Jharkhand academic Council.
As many as 10 students of Arts stream have been enlisted in top 10 positions in the college. They include Royan Dungdung with 328 marks (65.4) per cent, Soni Kumari 326 (65. 2) , Nitishranjan Topno 321 (64.2) percent, Priti Lata Telenga 320, Sugyani Purty 312 , Kadamvati Purti 308, Vothikandeyang 306, Sujita Gope,306 , Purnima Sur 306 and Rupa Mahato with 306 marks. A total of 241 students had appeared in the examination.
Out of them 15 students secured first division, 137 got second division and 50 students passed with third division. The principal Dr Monojit Biswas said, �Noamundi Inter college is situated in a remote area of Jharkhand.
The students here come from far off and interior parts of Saranda to study with poor educational back ground. They take admission without facing any prior admission test. I am proud of their outstanding performance and congratulate them. The credit goes to the students, teachers and the generous people of Noamundi.�
