Patna: NIT Patna defeated PMCH by 94 runs in the final of the city qualifiers to win the Red Bull Campus Cricket 2019 to be crowned the city champions. The match was played at Jagjivan Stadium in Patna. NIT Patna will now represent Patna in the regional/zonal finals and will play against six other cities.
The winning college from each city will then proceed to the zonal finals; west, east, north and south respectively. After the zonal finals in April, the India finals will be contested by the top two teams from each zone in a knockout format. The team to win its matches in the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be declared the national winner, and will represent India at the Red Bull Campus Cricket World Series Championship. City qualifiers will be held by March 12 in Kolkata, Raipur, Guwahati, Ranchi, Bhubaneshwar, Patna, Jamshedpur among 30 cities.
