Jamshedpur, Oct 30: The metallurgical and materials engineering department of NIT Jamshedpur will organise national virtual seminar on ‘Advances in Materials Processing Technology’ from October 31 to November 2. The three day seminar will be presided over by NIT Jamshedpur professors Dr Ranjeet Prasad and Dr Reena Sahu. Chief Guest for the occasion will be Director of IIT Hyderabad Dr BS Murty. At the virtual seminar 144 research papers will be submitted by prominent institutions including IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT BHU, ISM Dhanbad, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Patna, NIFFT Ranchi, Andhra University, MDU University and others. At the seminar a quiz in memory of 2012 pass out batch students late Shiraj Jama Khan and Kaushik Swaminathan. Cash prize worth Rs 15 thousand are up for grabs at the quiz competition. Over 100 participants have registered for the quiz.��
