Nishchit Raj named ‘Xavierian of the Year’

Gamharia: Xavier School, Gamharia, organized a grand Graduation Night for the Class of 2023-2025, celebrating the achievements and journey of its outgoing students. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Father Francis S.J., Principal of XITE College, Father Mukti, Father Jerry, and Loyola School Rector, Father K.M. Joseph.

Addressing the graduating students, Father Sebastian S.J., Principal of Xavier School, encouraged them to create a lasting impact wherever they go. He emphasized the importance of making a place in people’s hearts through good deeds and upholding the values instilled by the school and their families.

The evening was filled with vibrant cultural performances by the students, adding joy and energy to the celebration. The event also recognized outstanding students across various academic and extracurricular categories. Nishchit Raj was awarded the Best Student in Arts, Krista Singh Sardar received the Best Student in Commerce, and Riddhima Chatterjee was honored as the Best Student in Science.

Apart from academic excellence, students were also acknowledged for their contributions beyond academics. Sumit Das was recognized for his social work, Ayush Shekhar Mishra won the Cheerful Student Award, and Piya Das was honored with the Achievement Award. The most prestigious title of the evening, “Xavierian of the Year,” was awarded to Nishchit Raj for his all-around excellence.

The event was successfully coordinated with the dedicated efforts of Vice Principal Sister Nivedita, Sister Savita, Brother Amalraj, and teachers including Anandita Mahato, Farheen Akhtar, Saroj Ranjan, and Paramjit Kaur. Their guidance and commitment played a vital role in making the Graduation Night a memorable occasion for all.
