Jamshedpur: Under the aegis of Shri Vidya Shakti Sarvaswam of Chennai and with the blessings of Shrimata Lalitambika Rajrajeshwari Tripursundari the nine-day Shri Amba Yagna Nav Kundatmak Sahastrachandi Mahayagna and Srimad Devi Bhagwath Katha Gyan Yagna got off to a grand start with women devotees carrying pots of sacred water on their heads and their male counterparts holding aloft the religious banners in a procession from the Manokamna Temple at Sakchi to the yagna place on Dhalbhum Club Ground. The main attraction was the live model dressed immaculately as the Divine Mother which grasped the attention of all onlookers. Acharya Vijay Prakash Ji led the procession from the Manokamna Temple at 8 am. This nine day Gyan Yagna will conclude with prayers on January 5.
The prayers commenced with the 31 hosts who performed the Yagna. In the evening Acharya Vijay Prakash Ji Maharaj commenced the narration in his sweet and captivating voice giving out the message of peace and joy for mankind.
He said while explaining the passages from Srimad Devi Bhagwath Katha, �Devi Bhagwath is the most important and best among all the Purans. As such, it is of utmost importance to respect women power as this respect is actual worship of Mother Bhagwati. Just listening to the tenets of this religious text will provide you with true knowledge, good thoughts and you will get joy both, on earth and heaven.�
Yagnacharya Dr Pandit Hitesh Sharma urged all devotees to be present at the Yagna Katha and participate in the rituals. On Sunday, December 29, Acharya Vijay Prakash Ji Maharaj will narrate and elucidate the chapters on King Janak, Shukdev Samvad, Maharshi Vedvyas, Janmejay Samvad and Mata Bhuvneshwari Darshan Samvad.
