Jamshedpur, Sept 16: As many as 589 pending cases were disposed at the National Lok Adalat organized at Jamshedpur Civil Court on Saturday. A sum of Rs 4.71 crore was received in settlement. A majority of cases, numbering 310, were related to bank loan recovery. The National Lok Adalat was inaugurated by the Principal District and Sessions Judge Manoj Prasad. Family Court Judge Satya Prakash Sinha and Jharkhand State Bar Council Vice President Rajesh Kumar Shukla were also present on this occasion.
