Naman serves food among one lakh people in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur:  In its 42-day drive, social outfit Naman has so far served food to over one lakh people in and across the city. The organisation led by Amarpreet Singh Kale has been serving food ever since the beginning of lockdown. He noted that till the lockdown is over Naman will continue to serve the needy. He said that about 2000 to 2500 people are served food daily and it will continue till May 17.

Naman is serving food to the slum settlements, homeless and needy poor families in the lock down, and midday meal is distributed among them. The team is maintaining social distance and food is being served in different areas of Jamshedpur. Every day the food is changed and is distributed among needy.

In view of the problem of lockdown of various sections of the society, the mid-day meal is being served to the needy for the last 42 days by the Naman family under the leadership of Amarpreet Singh Kale. This service was started from lock down-1 which was locked down. 2 and lock down-3 will continue for the entire period, so far food has been served to more than 1 lakh people from the institution.

� Due to the lockdown, several families are facing financial problems, there is a crisis of livelihood, no one can sleep hungry and this thought and resolve helped them start this drive. The drive has covered areas like Birsnagar Zone No. 2,3,5,8, Nagadungri, Turiyabeda (Mango), Kalyan Nagar, Lal Bhatta, (Bhuyiandih), Belagadha Basti, Bagan Area (Kashidih), Devnagar (Baradwari), .

Members of Naman Akhilesh Pandey, Jugun Pandey, Prince Singh, Abhishek Pandey, Ghanshyam, Bibhash, Suman, Arun Karmakar, Sandhya Rani Mahato, Abha Verma, Pintu Saw, Kola Mukhi, Ashok Das, Mohan Das, Sonu Singh , Shubham Lala, Narayan Mahananda, Suraj, Sagar, Vivek Kamat, Martin, Bhagwat Mukherjee, Shashi Mukhi, are playing key role.
