Jamshedpur, Dec. 16: As the winter chill slowly sets in, and the minimum temperature hovering around 11 degree Celsius, the East Singhbhum district administration has initiated steps to set up ‘alao’ (bonfires) to help the poor face winter at much ease.
Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) lighted bonfires at the intersections including Mango Chowk, Dimna Chowk as per the instructions of Executive Officer Deepak Sahay.
The executive officer said that in view of the cold, arrangements are being made for bonfires at various locations.
