MGM sanitation workers submit memorandum to Kolhan MLAs

Jamshedpur, Feb 9: MGM Medical College and Hospital sanitation workers are submitting memorandum to all the MLAs of Kolhan about regularisation of their services and they began with submission of memorandum to state health minister and Jamshedpur West MLA Banna Gupta. 
Thereafter they submitted memorandum to Ghatshila MLA Ramdas Soren and Baharagora MLA Samir Mohanty. 
According to MGM Hospital Asthai Safai Karmachari Sangh secretary Ravi Namata they have been rendering services since last 18 years under private contractor at the government hospital and are always facing exploitation and they are regularly getting less payment. They will be submitting memorandum with other MLAs of Kolhan demanding regularisation of their work at the hospital. 
Meanwhile, number of sanitation workers at the hospital has also been reduced which is affecting cleanliness at the hospital. It usually requires more than 150 workers but now only 40 workers are working.
