Patient Found Dead In MGM Hospital, Family Alleges Murder

Jamshedpur: Tension gripped MGM Hospital late Monday night after staff discovered the body of a 54-year-old missing patient on the hospital grounds. The discovery has sparked allegations of gross negligence and foul play against the medical facility.

Discovery and Identification

Hospital security found the deceased, identified as Sunil Yadav, lying amid garbage near the boundary wall by the hospital’s laboratory. Yadav, a tempo driver from the Babakuti area of Bagbera, had been missing for over a week.

  • March 13: Yadav admitted to MGM Hospital complaining of physical weakness.

  • March 14: Family members left him in his hospital bed for the night.

  • March 15: Family returned to find his bed empty; Yadav had vanished under mysterious circumstances.

  • March 23: Security personnel discovered his body within the hospital premises.


Allegations of Foul Play

The discovery triggered a massive commotion as grieving relatives accused the hospital of both negligence and a cover-up. The victim’s son, Abhay Yadav, and other family members allege that someone murdered Sunil Yadav and dumped his body on the campus.

Official Response

MGM Hospital Superintendent Dr. Balram Jha and officers from the MGM police station arrived at the scene to pacify the agitated crowd.
