Jamshedpur: A shocking incident took place in the Govindpur police station area, where a 25-year-old mentally unstable youth, Jayprakash Dhan, was brutally murdered by slitting his throat inside the Govindpur Theme Park. The victim, a resident of Sundarhatu Kocha Tola, had left home on Monday night to witness Saraswati Puja but never returned.
His family searched for him all night, but on Tuesday morning, they received the devastating news of his body being found in the park. Upon arrival, they identified the deceased as Jayprakash Dhan. A torch and a lock-key were recovered from the scene.
His mother, Saibeni Dhan, confirmed that though Jayprakash had mental health issues, he never troubled the neighborhood. He had last been seen dancing at a Puja pandal before disappearing. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and are investigating the motive behind the murder, which remains unknown.
