Jamshedpur, Aug 18: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Zest inaugurated a fully equipped new menstrual hygiene room at new colony Utkramit Vidyalaya, Adityapur. Club’s district chairman Rita Jha and president of IWC Jamshedpur Zest Nisha Gadia inaugurated the new facility. To make life much easier for the girls in the school and to improve the attendance significantly the menstrual room was inaugurated. The new menstrual room has easy availability of sanitary pads, first aid kit, 2 beds, wardrobes, instructions and posters regarding the maintenance of menstrual hygiene. The club also donated Rs 9600 to the school authority to maintain the room and donated sanitary pads for the 200 girls in the school.
