Modi remembers Birsa Munda, JN Tata, Vijay Soreng, praises Jamuna Tudu

Jamshedpur, Feb 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the 53rd Mann Ki Baat radio programme memorable for the residents of Jharkhand by remembering Bhagwan Birsa Munda, visionary-industrialist JN Tata, martyred CRPF jawan Vijay Soreng and environment activist Jamuna Tudu.

The PM remembered the sacrifices made by Bhagwan Birsa Munda in the country�s freedom struggle and the role played by JN Tata in laying the foundation of an industrial empire. He also recalled the sacrifice made by Vijay Soreng who was killed in the recent terror attack in Pulwama. He praised Jamuna Tudu for saving forests despite all odds.

Impressed by the PM�s views on Jharkhand and its contribution in nation�s freedom struggle, industrial revolution, national security and environment conservation, Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Dinesh Kumar said, �We are grateful to the PM for making us feel proud about our state and acknowledging Jharkhand�s contribution in country�s progress. This has also greatly motivated all BJP workers of the state. We are sure that the PM returns after Lok Sabha elections and continues to lead us towards greater progress.�
