Jamshedpur, Feb 16: Based on cleanliness survey for the period 2021, the Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) has urged the Jharkhand government’s Ministry of Urban Development to provide star ranking as Garbage Free City. It may be mentioned that MMC has already been declared ODF Plus.
MMC Executive Officer Dipak Sahay stated that the letter had been sent to the Urban Development ministry from the office. He informed that MMC officials, employees, Sanitary contractors and their workers were working round the clock to ensure a spotlessly clean city and that maintenance of peak sanitary conditions was a continuous process. Sahay said that MMC City Manager Jitendra Kumar has been provided directives to maintain the Garbage Free City status.
