Jamshedpur: A man was severely burnt in a fire that broke out in a house under Sonari police station area on Monday.
He was taken to Tata Main Hospital where his condition was serious.
Sources said the incident occurred in the phase number 9 of Sonari in the evening. The people in the neighbourhood saw smoke coming out of the said house.
They soon tipped off the fire department and broke open the house. They saw a man in flames inside. Soon the fire was doused and the man was sent to hospital.
Police said they were probing into the cause of the mishap. They said they were looking into various possibilities.
