Jamshedpur: Loyola School has been producing gems since it opened its doors for students way back in 1947. In the past 80 years, the school run by Jesuit fathers now has many second generation students. One such example is Class 6 student Ananya Nair. This little girl is daughter of dental surgeon Dr Srikant Nair, who also heads the KPS chain of schools in Jamshedpur and Rairangpur of Odisha.
Recently Ananya has penned down her thoughts about the school she loves to walk in every morning in her book — ”The echoes rang again.”

Notably, the title of her book comes from the lines of the Loyola anthem, which says ..”till the echoes ring again, for here we all are true…”
Ananya, sharing her experience, said, “It was a school project which gave me the idea to write this book. Though, initially I was slow in writing the book but my mother Rachna was the steering force behind me. My father, who is also a former Loyolean, gave me all the inputs required to write the book.”
The book was unveiled by Loyola School principal Fr Vinod Fernandes SJ on the institution’s campus last month. The book has received appreciation from many former Loyoleans including Bangalore-based techie Niraj Singh of 1992 batch, who purchased it online.
Dr Srikant said, “I am extremely happy that my daughter has written a book on Loyola School, where we have spent the golden years of our life. Loyola is always ahead in producing true citizens for India.”
Ananya’s mother also narrated how she helped her daughter to write the book.
