Jamshedpur, July 26: Sacred Heart Convent School (SHCS) hosted an exhilarating inter-school event ‘Link Up Carnival 2024’, drawing students from 12 prestigious schools across the city. This grand event, themed “Storica Civilta,” featured a variety of exciting competitions and was graced by distinguished guests, including Loyola School principal Father Vinod Fernandez S.J. as the chief guest and SHCS Principal Sister M. Steffi A.C.

In his insightful address, Father Vinod Fernandez S.J. underscored the profound significance of ancient civilizations, while Sister M. Steffi A.C. highlighted the importance of such events in fostering camaraderie and mutual respect among students from different schools.

The opening ceremony was followed by a series of onstage and offstage events, including Delegati Assembramento (Model United Nations), Shipwreck (Extempore Event), Seeking Herge (Comic Making), Argil Hew (Clay Sculpting), and Final Frontier (3-D Model Designing), among others.

After fierce competition, Loyola School emerged as the overall champions, with Carmel Junior College and St. Mary’s English High School securing the positions of first and second runners-up, respectively.
The enthusiasm and dedication of all participants in their quest for the overall championship were truly remarkable. Their passion and perseverance not only made the carnival a success but also showcased the incredible potential and spirit of young learners.
Link Up Carnival 2024 concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony, celebrating the winners and honoring all participants, leaving everyone excited for next year’s event.
