Jadugora: A car belonging to the labour enforcement officer of Mosabani, Dhirendra Paswan, met an accident near Hartopa in Jadugora on Monday. Paswan sustained injuries after his car rammed into a roadside tree at high speed. However, an even bigger mishap was averted when fire suddenly broke out in the car. The local villagers rushed to the rescue of Paswan on seeing flames emanating from the bonnet of his Maruti Zen. They took Paswan out of the distressed vehicle and sent him to Narwa Hospital. The incident occurred around 1 pm when Paswan was going to the Mosabani block office from Jamshedpur. The car caught fire after hitting the tree. Paswan sustained a fracture in one of his legs in the collision. A fire tender of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) of UCIL was rushed to the spot to douse the fire. The fire was controlled after some time.
