Arindam Patra, Sahil Kumar win Principal’s Award
Jamshedpur, January 12: Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) organised Graduation Ceremony for the outgoing Class XII (2024–25) batch on Monday, marking an important milestone in the academic journey of its students. A total of 147 students graduated, including 60 from the Science stream and 87 from the Commerce stream.
The ceremony featured the presentation of graduation certificates and batch souvenirs. Several awards were instituted to recognise students for academic excellence, discipline, leadership and overall development. The Principal’s Award was presented to Arindam Patra and Sahil Kumar Saha for their exemplary conduct and all-round performance.
The Academic Star of the Year Award was jointly awarded to Manaswi Pranjal, Aayush Ranjan, Saksham Kumar and Kirat Kaur, while Tanmay Moonka received the Most Versatile Student of the Year Award. The Brave Heart Award went to Anik Maity and Harbir Singh, and the Exemplary Regularity Award was presented to Pranay Ranjan. Mohammad Bilal received the Extra Mile Award, while Tanish Rathore was named Sports Star of the Batch.
Sports Star of the Class awards were presented to Ashmit Shekhar, Krishiv Agarwal, Rishab Prasad and Jasraj Singh. Appreciation letters were given to Daksh Dharmik Velayudhan and Anurag Mitra, while the Year Book 2026 team included Mohammad Bilal, Shradhanjali Pothal, Anurag Mitra, Nishita Singh, Harleen Kaur, Driti Zatakia, Aadivika Sharma and Subho Deep Hazra. Daksh Dharmik and Anurag Mitra served as IT coordinators.
Students shared memories and expressed gratitude to teachers and staff, followed by a video presentation recalling their school journey. K Muralidharan, President/Trustee of Kerala Samajam, and Principal Mrs Nandini Shukla addressed and honoured the graduates. The ceremony concluded with a candle-lighting ritual, marking an emotional farewell for the students.
