Jamshedpur, Nov 14: Kerala Public School, Kadma celebrated Children’s Day with a colourful and joyful Mela on Thursday, turning the campus into a lively space of games, music and celebrations. The event was organised in two sessions — morning for Nursery to Class VII and afternoon for Classes VIII to XII — allowing every student to participate fully.
Principal Sharmila Mukherjee said Children’s Day marks the spirit of childhood, and the Mela is the school’s way of appreciating students and strengthening community bonds. During the celebration, the school also felicitated students who demonstrated exemplary behaviour, positive attitude and commitment to academics and co-curricular activities. They were awarded Certificates of Appreciation for values such as kindness, teamwork and discipline.

Game stalls such as Shiny Surprise, Spin and Win, Memory Test Game and Spin the Wheel were major attractions, drawing enthusiastic participation from both students and parents. Food stalls offering a variety of snacks and sweets added to the festive charm.
A lively DJ session further energised the celebration, with students, teachers and parents joining the dance floor. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and appreciation for the collective effort that made the celebration a grand success.
