Khadi Board inaugurates stall in Tatanagar railway station

Jamshedpur, August 14: On the occasion of celebration of the 75th year of independence, a stall for exhibition cum sale of products manufactured under the aegis of Jharkhand State Khadi and Village Industries Board was inaugurated at Tatanagar Railway station on Saturday, August 14. The stall, which will run till August 25, was jointly inaugurated by Khadi Board CEO Rakhal Chandra Besra and Railway Area Manager Vinod Kumar. Such stalls have been launched at 75 railway stations across the country including two in Jharkhand at Tatanagar and Dhanbad. CEO of the Board, Rakhal Chandra Besra said on the occasion that the exhibition-cum-sales stalls at important railway stations of the country had been opened under the programme, 'Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav' and that the first such stall launched was at Tatanagar rail station. Special discounts were being offered to customers at the stalls. Discounts of 20 percent on Khadi garments and 25 percent on readymade There is 20 percent discount on Khadi garments and 25 percent on readymade and village industries products. He has appealed to the residents of the city to take advantage of it. Railway Area Manager Vinod Kumar said that whatever facility will be there for the convenience of the customers, will be provided in this stall.
Told that such stalls are being started in many other stations of the country. It is a matter of pride to be selected for Tatanagar station. On behalf of the railway station manager HK Balmuchu, Santosh Kumar, Shiv Narayan, Sunil Kumar along with Bistupur center manager of Khadi Board Vibhuti Rai, Rakesh Kumar, Sangeeta, Ritika, Ruby, Suman, Leena, Meera, Neeru, Chanda, Urmila etc. were present.
