JMM Leader Mahabir Murmu Leads Republic Day Celebrations Across Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Mahabir Murmu spearheaded a series of patriotic events across the city to mark India’s 76th Republic Day. On January 26, Murmu hoisted the national flag at several key locations, calling for a collective commitment to the constitutional values of social justice and unity.

The day-long program commenced at the Burma Mines Residential Office, followed by official ceremonies at the JMM office in Golmuri and the office of social worker Santosh Singh. Murmu continued the circuit with flag-hoisting ceremonies at East Plant Basti, the Sitaramdera JMM office, Om Guru Shiva Temple, and finally at the Sheetla Club in Postunagar, Bagbera.

Addressing party workers and local residents, Murmu emphasized the importance of the Constitution in safeguarding the rights of the common people.

“We must work collectively for the development of Jharkhand while upholding the democratic ideals that define our nation,” Murmu stated during his address to the citizens.

The celebrations saw a significant turnout of party loyalists and community leaders. Notable attendees included Anand Srivastava, Santosh Singh, Pappu Upadhyay, Abhishek Singh, and Bablu Tudu, among others. The events concluded with the distribution of sweets and a shared pledge to further the welfare of the state.
