Jharkhand team jersey unveiled for Masters National Athletics Meet

Jamshedpur: The official jersey of the Masters Athletics Association of Jharkhand was unveiled on Wednesday evening ahead of the 46th Masters National Athletics Championship. The ceremony was held at the Red Corporate Petrol Pump at the Labour Bureau premises in Jamshedpur as part of Bharat Petroleum’s Golden Jubilee celebrations.

The Jharkhand team will represent the state at the national championship scheduled to be held in Thiruvananthapuram from January 28 to February 1, 2026. Addressing the gathering, Masters Athletics Association of Jharkhand President Vijay Singh informed that 30 athletes from the state will participate in the prestigious national event.

The jersey was unveiled by representatives of Bharat Petroleum, who extended their best wishes to the athletes and encouraged them to perform well at the national level. Those present from Bharat Petroleum included Farhat Jahan, Sales Officer, Saikat Dey, CRE East, Nitish Kar, CRE West, and Shyam Yadav, FSA.

Secretary of the association S. K. Tomar expressed confidence that the Jharkhand athletes would deliver strong performances and bring laurels to the state. Senior members R. P. Pandey and Manish Kumar were also present during the ceremony, which concluded on an encouraging note for the participating athletes.
