Ranchi, March 13: Protesting against rising inflation and the continuous increase in domestic cooking gas prices, Potka MLA Sanjib Sardar joined fellow legislators in a demonstration outside the Jharkhand Assembly on Friday. The protest, staged by members of the ruling alliance in the state, targeted the Centre over the escalating cost of living and concerns surrounding LPG supply.

The legislators raised slogans and voiced strong objections to what they described as the growing financial burden on ordinary citizens due to rising fuel prices.
They alleged that the persistent hike in LPG cylinder prices, coupled with irregular supply, has severely affected households, particularly those belonging to poor and middle-class families.

Speaking during the protest, MLA Sanjib Sardar said that the sharp rise in cooking gas prices has significantly strained household budgets. He noted that many families are struggling to manage their daily kitchen expenses as inflation continues to impact essential commodities.
Sardar, along with other legislators, urged the central government to immediately intervene by regulating LPG prices and ensuring uninterrupted supply of domestic cylinders across the country. They emphasized that timely and affordable access to cooking gas is essential for the welfare of common people.
The MLA further stated that raising voices on issues affecting the public is the fundamental duty of elected representatives, and assured that they would continue to highlight concerns related to inflation and essential services until meaningful relief is provided to citizens.
