Ranchi, Feb 3: The Jharkhand government has announced a statewide holiday on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat, directing the closure of all government offices on February 4.
The decision was formalised through an official notification issued by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha. Following the release of the notification, people across the state expressed happiness, welcoming the government’s move to recognise the religious significance of the day.
