Ranchi, Jan 9: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today launched the “Abua Dishom Budget Portal and Mobile App” at the state secretariat, inviting citizens and experts to share their suggestions for the upcoming 2026-27 state budget.
Addressing the gathering, CM Soren emphasized, “The foundation of a strong state is built not just through schemes, but through active public participation.”
He added that the government is making continuous efforts to implement an inclusive budget with the valuable inputs of the people.

Through the portal, app, and social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and X, citizens can submit their suggestions until January 17.
Recommendations related to revenue enhancement will be especially significant in strengthening the state’s economy.
The three best suggestions will be recognized and honored in a special program.
The Chief Minister also directed officials to initiate public feedback collection through the portal from November 15 each year to ensure participation from even the state’s most remote areas in budget planning.
Finance Minister, Chief Secretary, Secretary (Expenditure), Secretary (Resources), Special Secretary, and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
