Abhinav and Ayan Secure Spots in Top 3
Jamshedpur: Students from the Steel City delivered an outstanding performance in the JEE Main results declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday. In the Kolhan region, Mukul Mahato secured an impressive 99.96 percentile, earning the distinction of Kolhan topper.
With this achievement, nearly 1,200 students from Jamshedpur have strengthened their eligibility for the next stage of the engineering entrance examination — JEE Advanced.
Strong Performance by City’s Top 10
Around 8,000 candidates from Jamshedpur appeared for the exam this year. The competition for the top ranks was intense.
- Mukul Mahato (99.96 percentile) secured first position.
- Abhinav Aditya (99.79 percentile) stood second.
- Ayan Singh (99.72 percentile) claimed third place.
- Soham (99.67 percentile) finished fourth.
All the successful candidates demonstrated that with proper guidance and dedicated hard work, securing top ranks in national-level examinations is achievable.
Next Target: IIT and Computer Science
Following their success, the students said their focus is now firmly on JEE Advanced. Mukul and the other toppers aspire to gain admission into the country’s premier Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Most of the students aim to pursue modern disciplines such as Computer Science (CS) and Robotics for their higher studies.
