Jamshedpur Women’s University B.Ed. students explore Ranchi on educational tour

Jamshedpur, Sept 18: The Department of Education at Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) organized a two-day educational tour to Ranchi for B.Ed. students under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Anjila Gupta.
A total of 72 students, along with 8 teachers including Dr. Prabhat Kumar Mahato, R. Teja, Dr. Sheetal Pandey, and Vineeta Kumari, and 3 non-teaching staff members — Prabhakar Rao, Rohit Vishwakarma, and Vishwanath Rao — participated in the tour.
The trip aimed to provide students with experiential learning beyond the classroom, exposing them to Ranchi’s educational, cultural, and historical sites. The experience was designed to enhance their academic perspective and connect theory with practical aspects of teaching and learning.
The tour was supported by DSW Dr. Kishwar Ara, Coordinator Dr. Kamini Kumari, HoD Dr. Sanjay Bhuiyan, and committee members Dr. Sudha Singh, Dr. Neha Minz, Dr. Geeta Mahato, Dr. Prabhat Kumar Mahato, and Dr. Kavita Singh.
