Jamshedpur, Nov 13: Acting on the directives of the Deputy Municipal Commissioner, the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) carried out a demolition drive today against unauthorized shop constructions in the Bistupur market area.

During inspection, officials found that several individuals had encroached upon public spaces and were engaged in illegal construction and expansion of shops without permission.

Taking prompt action, the enforcement team, under the Deputy Municipal Commissioner’s orders, dismantled the illegal structures and cleared the encroached areas.
The operation was conducted in the presence of the City Manager, Revenue Inspector, and Sanitation Inspector.
The team ensured that the affected area was restored to its original condition.
The Deputy Municipal Commissioner has issued a stern warning that no illegal construction or encroachment will be tolerated, and violators will face strict action under the Jharkhand Municipal Act.
The municipal administration has also appealed to traders and the general public to adhere to civic regulations and obtain prior approval before undertaking any construction activity.
